I was discussing at work today about Rice v Fernandes for player of the year and one of my colleagues arguments for Rice was that he is a better all-round midfielder.

While I agree, I personally don't think that matters. I'm not judging a player from their all-round game but on what they are being asked to do. I'm not judging Haaland on his ability to put in a last ditch tackle and I'm not judging Van Dijk on his ability to dribble past 5 players and curl it into the top corner.

Does being an all-rounder mean that player should be judged to be better than someone who plays in very specialist way?

On one of Nick Smith’s slides at the “Built By Us” fan consultation, there was a schedule that said there’d be x4 workshops during June, then public exhibitions throughout July/August.

Does anyone know if the workshops are “invite only” or balloted, because I’ve not seen any public advertisement on when/where they’re taking place. Considering we’re less than a week from June, I thought maybe we’d have heard something by now?

Pushed back a lil' camping trip to this evening to watch the final day of the Premier.

Can see Spurs and West Ham both winning despite abysmal home records, Spurs only managing 2 EPL home wins all season and a home goal difference of -10, but in must win games (for West Ham anyway) you would expect decent, positive displays.

Could get fairly ugly for Sulli and co later (in fact, just Sulli as everybody else legged it), whilst Spurs will probably be more in shock than anger if they drop.
