Not sure whether I have shared this before.

M&S sell cider in a can for under a £1 and its made by Westons.
4.5% alc vol so it is the red top bottled stuff (Medium Dry).

Cheap as chips.

I prefer to think of them as Gold in colour and golden to taste.

When working night shifts in London I would purchase 4 and drink them on the train on my way back to Upper Warlingham. The looks I would get at 8am ;-)

I had a friend with a peculiar hobby. Him and his wife used to like putting things in cider. They put all sorts of things in cider, it started off with small things like putting pencils in cider, or putting fruit in cider, then they progressed to larger things such as putting a bread bin in cider, and to top it off as a keen musician he put his organ in cider.

Good cider is strong, tastes nice and doesn't give you hangovers = less time spent in the gents = more drinking and socialising time.

Cider wins over all, hands down.

Cider is definitely not for pussies.

Ordered a 10 litre flagon for Xmas from Wilkins cider farm in Mudgley Somerset.

Ordered half and half, the alcohol content is anyones guess , but very high.

The first time i had it was on a trip down to Somerset on site in their barn.

Two half pints later, i felt i was on an acid trip in the back of the motor as we drove down the country lanes coming back.Eventually falling asleep.

My mate had an evacuation as he got out of the car at our digs.

Proper scrumpy goes lovely with a bit of cheese and biscuits.. mmm Stilton.

No it's definitely a damp problem and not a tramp problem.

The real ale , Belgian beer and proper cider tends to be a tramp deflector.

They are all over the road drinking lager piss, and out of date beer in Wetherspoons.

A thread about cider.

This is gayer than that Top Man thread the other day.
