Whats wrong with that? England were top dogs on the international scene for years, they wanted to emulate us. Can't see the problem.

When we had proper lads following not the internet warriors of today.

England back in the day had a presence that was unrivalled, times change and now the England firm are representative of the clubs firms that it's made up of. Pavement dancing, abuse singing wannabes.

The Russian lads modelled themselves on England of old, thing is in Russia they still lump shit out of each other without the old bill and technology being an issue... they have been allowed to evolve, they do it most weeks.

They went there to kick our ass, they succeeded.

no not true 99.9% would have been offski, tbf England are just reaping what they sowed back in the day, If you see England away, generally 90% are Grandads, who have got the time & money to devote to it. their best fighting days are thirty years behind the, also a few young pups who talk the talk but hace never walked the walk, so its two submission and a a technical knock out to the Ruskies!

There was a fair few lads in France, the biggest issue was the Russians were attacking anyone and everyone not just lads.

Obviously the targeting of the innocents was bad, but one of the highlights of that tournament for me was the English lad, giving it the full 'arms outstretched, what the feck are you gonna do about it mate' to a Russian - the next photograph of him he has a black eye and he's been chucked in the sea :D

I remember you posting 'good more of the same please' when news cane out that an England fan had been hospitalised and was in a coma.

And throughout the tournament you were revelling in England fans getting attacked. Made post after post about it.

Fifa president Gianni Infantino says he is "not at all concerned" by the threat of hooliganism at next year's World Cup in Russia.

At Euro 2016, there were violent clashes between Russian and English supporters in Marseille.

One Russian fan, speaking as part of a BBC documentary to be broadcast on Thursday, said trouble is "100% guaranteed" at the 2018 World Cup.

I didn't agree with Bob on that but there's a lot of revelling about when we used to top dogs 'back in the day', presumably when it our oerogative to put people into comas.

sympathy for genuinely innocent fans who got caught up in trouble

Absolutely no sympathy for anyone giving it large outside a pub then getting slapped.

Most of these people crying about the Russians would have been claiming a result if it had gone the other way.

But when the first lad got put in a coma you said and I use a direct quote here 'Good, more of the same please'. There was no evidence of him calling it on he was just in the square when they done him. When that was pointed out to you at the time you didn't care.

Re: They taking the piss

Moscow replying to Mrmonza1984
13:29, Thursday 16 February 2017
I've been living in Moscow for six years now during which time I've seen quite a lot of football here.

For next year, if the authorities want a nice peaceful event, then that's what will happen. If for political reasons however, the authorities want England to get well and truly battered, then that's what will occur. Impossible to predict which way it will go.

In the same way, there's no doubt that Marseille was (un)officially sanctioned from above

The club scene is good. Traditionally, CSKA = Red Army, Dinamo = KGB, Locomotiv = railway workers, Torpedo = government engineers, Spartak, is unaffiliated to any government organisation and is the team of the people, obviously the team you HAVE TO support coming in from outside.

The dodgy games are Dinamo or CSKA V Spartak plus anything involving Zenit. and believe me, they are dodgy. But even at these games, the main stand is off limits for trouble and is mixed with both sets of supporters watching the game together, no hassle.

2018 ? I'll be there And we'll see
