He was from Bury .... Undoubtably gone to a better place and at least he got to see James Vaughan score a goal before he went . It was probably seeing Lee Clark appointed that finished him off .

I worked with a chap in the late 70's who said that when his daughter , Clair , started school in 1978 , half of the female intake that year were similarly named ..
