Is that Koby Arthur wearing 24? A bit odd that he's training with the first team considering he's being shipped out. What possible motivation would he have to perform well?

Assume it was Zola's decision to ship him out, Harry giving him a chance in training it seems, he played for the U23's last night

I cant imagine that Redknapp has called him back into the group already, so presumably he has been with the first team throughout. He can't be a happy fella knowing his contract is not being renewed. Most likely pissed off and letting the others know all about it. Not a smart way to build team unity.

His body language in most of those photographs suggests he's wondering what he's taken on

Wow!

How insightful. There's a hell of a lot of assumptions there though.

I've seen "...where they had been scheduled to train before a shirt sponsors' function" written a few times now. Can someone please clarify whether this means that 'they are training at the stadium for the morning before a sponsors event takes place there' or whether they mean they are 'training in the morning before attending a sponsors' event?'

Surely the former!?

Assumption central with nothing to back it up.

Considering Koby hasn't been anywhere near the first team since Clark was here I doubt it was much of a shock to him.

More likely is he's pleased to be training with better players before he's cut loose.

You'll have to ask Brad Spitts of one of the others ITK. (since Mayor isn't here to put us all straight!)

Exactly, I presume that if he takes the job he will be able to offer them contracts to stay as well , would be bizarre if that wasn't the case

Yes assuming but surely you would want a group all pulling in the same direction, playing for their futures. Relegation or not he knows he aint playing for us again so whats the point in him taking a spot in training. I was just shocked to see him there.

It's not like if he goes, someone jumps in to fill his place. He's getting paid to do his job! He certainly won't be rich enough to be able to walk away from the club - he'll likely end up at Solihull earning minimum wage soon enough anyway!

Makes sense as Harry has brought him in for his coaching skills. Also makes sense that Harry would want to be able to step back and have a good look at the lads and mull things over without the distraction of running the session.

Exactly as it should be, coach doing the shouting and bawling, manager stepped back, taking it all in, assessing the players.
My fave pic though is the one where he's staring at Gleeson who is running past him and clearly thinking 'Fack me, is this geezers head gonna explode, or wot?' :D

Nah not really not really
He's got five days to work with the players. to set them up how he wants them to line up and play. He'll get a bit of feedback from Beale and Hitchcock on who's been hot and who has not etc.
He'll go home at night and watch a few villa games and BANG its Sunday.
It ain't fecking rocket science ya na
