Doesnt look like he has got anywhere near the amount people thought we had to spend? Or is it a trick by him. I doubt it though.

I'm going to go against Mayor and say we'll spend big on a forward.

Or try to anyway.

So far, we have acquired the best goalie in the division, a promising, regarded mobile new centre back, an aggressive, technically competent central midfield player. There are still 6 weeks to go before the transfer window stops so our options are looking much, much better.

Striker, left back and winger would be nice. Still plenty of time.

How many posts of dithering in the market, bad targets and lack of funds before you admit you're a DVB?

See I think we've got more money than I thought, I was expecting a 10-15 million transfer kitty but with the players we're after and signed and the wages we're throwing out, I never imagined us to be able to pay such high wages.
I'm sure I read somewhere that Ndoye was on €40k at his former club and we've been able to offer him more money!
I know we're linked with free transfers but it's a far cry from the frees we were getting under Clark or Rowett!
I honestly think we've made 3 great signings and we'll pull a rabbit out of the hat for sure thumbs up

I'm saying it now.

We looked at Onyekuru and Diony but it was too rich for our blood. The club cannot afford a 10 mil fee plus wages, it just can't - however I could see us paying a smaller fee and hefting 30-40k a week at someone

Not 10m but I reckon we'll go for 5-6m on a forward.

Just my opinion.

The amount we spend is immaterial anyway. NDoye is a free transfer, would you turn down a striker with similar rave reviews cos he was on a free?
