No. Not from where I sat. I didn't even think it was a foul.

We had a good view of it - we are in Block 24 so right in front of us.

I thought not and those around me thought yellow at most.

I didn't think it was a foul, but there again I wouldn't make a good referee. I'll see the replay later, no doubt. Straight red. It was by the Kop and he was as stunned as the crowd.

Never a red

Turned to my mate though the second the ref blew up, said he's going...the ref was itching to give anything against us today

Erm?

Gleason appeared to pick up a yellow card, presumably for having a go at the fourth official.
You know what? I think I'd quite like to sit near Miguel.

It was a strange incident out of nowhere, but looked a headbutt from block 24.

It seems like I'm on my own but I thought he went over the top of the ball and I called it as a straight red before the ref got his card out.

If you mean the one with Ndoye there was a bit of a kerfuffle, and when the BC player got up, he did a sort of 3/4 arsed headbutt into the chest of Ndoye, a bit like a making a point push, as opposed to a meaningful one. For show only, and the point of which escapes me. Presumably he didn't think the ref could see (though I'm not sure he was that worried, correctly as he was fine, as I think the ref did see) and wasn't worried about getting into a fight. Definitely correctly. A bit of acting the hard guy in a safe situation. Ndoye gave him a bit of a shove, probably the maximum he could have got away with.
The ref then had a word with both of them. After that, the BC player appeared to be trying to chat away with Ndoye and make friends. Again I've no idea why he bothered, it wasn't as if Ndoye's first stop after the game was going to be the away dressing room. Ndoye just ignored him.
All in all I took the BC player as a bit of a child who was worried about keeping up appearances, for some dick headed reason, and after that was worried he he might have inspired a particularly dicey tackle, from which I'm guessing, he was more worried about loosing face, than he was the resulting pain of said tackle.
My view only.

The head butt was on Morrison a few minutes before half time. Waiting for a corner or maybe a free kick to be taken. Do not blame the ref too much for missing it though cannot see everything at dead balls. If the cameras picked it up a then a ban for the big centre forward coming.

There was a bit of a ding-dong between the junior coaching staff on the benches, no idea why Gleeson was singled out.

Forgive me for chipping in with an 'I listened to it on the radio' point of view...the commentators kept mentioning that the Bristol player (was it Pack?) seemed to want to start a fight with Morrison, 'seems to want to hurt him' was what they said. They were a bit bemused. After hearing this, the conspiracy theorist in me couldn't help thinking that this was possibly an instruction from their manager to get in there and wind up Morrison. Perhaps they felt he was the type of player who would eventually retaliate and get sent off.

Now why would the Bristol city manager want our centre half sent off? Perhaps he just felt that they would win more easily if we had ten men and our captain was gone. But on the other hand, perhaps he wanted him banned for three or four games leading up to the close of the transfer window, knowing that we are weakened in that department with Shotton unsettled. Who knows? We do know that it's looking increasingly likely that Harry will dig his heels in on Flint and only pay what he thinks he's worth or walk away, but the player is unsettled enough that he's not being selected.

How dare you come on here and voice an opinion from the comfort of your armchair!! ;)

Nice conspiracy theory though.

Saw the red on the highlights and it looks very harsh. I'm assuming we'll appeal and it'll get rescinded. For comparison it didn't look as bad as Che's against Huddersfield at the end of last season.

Johnson said Blues emailed with final offer and he rejected it, and could still be a place for him if he nails his colours to the mast.
I reckon he'll be in for the Bolton game.
