Well we can forget Defoe. Bournemouth are offering him £115 grand a week.

Literally every Championship team can forget about signing Defoe.

We don't need to negate Blues by saying "we don't have a chance of signing Defoe". Nobody else in our league has a chance of signing him either.

He's still scoring regularly in the Premier League and for England recently. Obviously he'll be desperate to remain in the Premier League.
Ndoye is the best midfielder in the Championship.

Never understood the Defoe talk. The lad will be aiming for another 10+ goals in the PL next season then hoping for a phone call from Southgate once Sturridge inevitably gets injured.

I am going to be pissed the feck off if we end up getting the likes of Crouch, Keane and Terry on 150k .

:D

Feckin hell... we're turning over £12M a year and have to abide by FFP rules. You're talking about 65% wages to turnover on 3 players ? Never mind the other 19 plus required :D

On the very slim chance that our owners had that kind of dough to spend, the reality is, they wouldn't be able to.

After reading this thread, I think the reality of any signings, is going to leave quite a few on here, disappointed.

Newspaper claiming manager that likes to bring formee player old boys to his new squads is interested in bringing in former player old bou to new team shocker.

I am going to be pissed the feck off if we end up getting the likes of Crouch, Keane and Terry on 150k a week claiming one last paycheck at the expense of all the young hungry talent we could have brought in.

Id rather have 20 Che Adams 20 year olds to work as a team and build and grow together on 150k a week (7.5k a week) than those 3.

If you hire a 70 year old manager, don't expect investment in youth or planning for the long term.

'Arry will chuck everything we've got at a promotion chase, some expect veterans on one year deals and expensive loans

It will be a fun ride, but if it doesn't work next summer might not be as fun

Depends on wages for me
He still managed 1 in 2 last season in the MLS. Admittedly a poor standard but you've still got to be in the right place to score.

Got UEFA coaching badge.
Could be good as an impact sub, or working with Hale & McDonald
