He made mistakes, but ultimately it was the poison spread by VR that we had to get out of the club

Don't blame Morrison Thongs - VR allowed a culture to fester where is players were led to believe that life without him was impossible, that the players should create problems for anyone who delared to replace him. He's the footballing Jeremy Corbyn

Lazarus Morrison proves you wrong and Zola right.
Anybody in their right mind let alone our manager would have been able to see that our players were not capable of playing the style of football he wanted us to play.Irrespective of what Morrison or any other player thought or did,we would still have ended up in the shit.Zola was just a disastrous appointment full stop.

Time to let it go Thongs.

I was happy enough to see Zola given a go but it was clear he was not up to the job. A sacked manager blaming his staff for letting him down is not that unusual really. It was him and his team that failed to "manage" the situation and get the best out of somewhat limited players. DVB Rowett managed them well enough early in the season and Redknapp got 6 points out of 9 at the end of the season - it is plain to see where the problem rested!!

I never thought I'd see the day that a manager worse than Lee Clark came down here.

At least Clark talked us up, clearly loved the job even though it was making him mentally unwell. He was extremely limited but he cared a hell of a lot.

Zola treated the club and fans with disdain from minute one, he thought he was too good for the club.

lee Clark was immeasurably better (is that a word?) Zola had zero redeeming features, he had no affinity with the crowd or the players, utterly useless. Those that nailed their colours to his mast (you know who you are) look idiotic.
Also can any one tell me why Zola did this interview? just made himself look stupid week and clueless!

Yes I did.But it's like when you hit your thumb with the hammer.....it's not the hammers fault is it?.
His attempt to blame other people for his own failure is cheap. They were punching above their weight as it was under GR and he tried something that was clearly beyond them....and we nearly payed the price.

I know.for a FACT that there were other factors in play. If your players turn against you what can you do? Some of those players will wear the shirt next season. It disgusts me but you seem fine with it.

i am 100% fine with the players you know no facts just supposition!
On sponsors night Morrison told a senior person from the old centro organisation ( Guy who plays in my footy team) that GZ `seemed` a decent bloke just totally confused the players with his tactical gobbledygook!

Not at all am I fine with mutiny amongst well payed Pro's.Tbe bottom line is that if it was the case that Morrison went on strike it seems a vey harsh coarse of action for an average championship central defender.Surely the club would have taken some sort of disciplinary action against him if it was so glaringly obvious. He did undergo surgery for a hernia let's not forget.

The best managers carry the dressing room with them. Its almost irrelevant what supposedly "caused" it. He just wasn't capable of getting the players to trust him, follow him or believe in him.

A hernia is two weeks off work...not 3 months until a manager you like takes over.
