Adams' injury different to the one he's been out with. This cannot be bad luck

Adams is too big. Looks primed for hammy's. Needs to shift some timber

Hardly "huge" though is it... not exactly that they have both bust a leg or done their ACL.

Whole purpose of a squad.

He pulled it, went down and came straight off as we were making substitutions. There was no delay at all. He tried very briefly to run it off but knew it was gone.

I'm encouraged that he COULD try and run it off though, a full on tear paralyses you, no way you can move, let alone run it off.
Hopefully means it's not that bad and a couple of weeks physio will sort him.
Thanks for keeping us up, Harry.

Bathe him in milk and honey, moisturise him with the finest Mediterranean oils money can buy, condition his hair, massage him with aloe vera and get him back on that pitch.

I'd rather an ever-so slightly bolder approach........line up our fitness coaches and interrogate them about why we are suffering so many injuries, particularly avoidable soft-tissue injuries. We need a stable team for the players to gel, and injuries to key players threaten to hold us back.

For me, bad luck with injuries would be impact injuries or bone fractures, dislocations, things like that. Jenkinson's was unlucky.

So many muscular injuries suggests an underlying issue with something that they're doing at Wast Hills; I have no idea what it is. I'll stick by that theory though.

Frankly, I think a lot of people on here are talking bollocks.
Again.

Yeah, you're right. Obviously, we should also have given Zola 10 months...... and we'd be in League 1.

Seriously, it's healthy for us - and the Club - to question what the fitness coaches are doing. We're not saying that they should be sacked, but they may well need to modify what they are doing. Hopefully, the coaches are already questioning what they are doing, but some can be dogmatic and need to be told.

Note how though, it is only happening to forwards and no-one else so far.

It's always more likely to happen to forwards though isn't it, they stretch the muscles the most

In Che's case, it could well be because he's trying just that little too hard to prove himself.

That's a good point. It could well be a contributory factor, but there has to be an underlying weakness in the 1st place. I wonder whether Che is too eager to get back to full fitness after injury, rather than gradually nurse himself back. This seems to be the case with Clayton, who scored twice on his Blades debut but injured his HAMSTRING again when scoring the 2nd goal.
