Where’s everyone drinking?

How much are the train tickets?

Before some smart arse posts that google thing I can’t be bothered to look for train tickets myself when somebody here has already done it :)

I doubt this is helpful but I paid 70 return from Euston, 2 hrs direct each way.

Looking forward to it, nearly 1700 sold which is pretty good going.

From New St your looking at £55 day return, or about £40 if you pre book singles.

Ours are £33ish return - from Roojelly though. Go via Crewe there, Stafford back.
Thanks for keeping us up, Harry.

Last time we went December 2016 (Think it was or may have been 2015) we drank in weatherspoons in town. No other Blues in town at all as far as we could see. Then just walked to the ground. It was a Tuesday night though and only about 800 of us.
Easy walk from town.
Turn left when you get on a plane.

Stacks of boozers in town from X2 spoons to some good real ale boozers. We'll be eating and drinking in town with the boy early doors then wander up to the ground to have a gander at the football museum
Thanks for keeping us up, Harry.

Due to a feck up I’ve booked the journey there twice so I can get two adults there free. However you’ll need to have a family and friends railcard AND take a kid with you AND go from Wolverhampton at 8am :D

You'll do well, that moved to Manchester city centre about three years ago.

Remember going to Preston a decade or more ago. Me and the Mrs were sat in a boozer in the centre when what I can guess was their firm turned up and took over one corner of the pub. After 15 minutes or so a lad walks in on his own walks up to them and chucked a bottle at em. Before they could even move towards him the window came through and about twenty Blues rushed in and steamed into em. A minute or so later the pub is trashed, the Preston lot are licking their wounds and I’m still sipping my hot chocolate :D

The only time I’ve had a drink in Preston was on the way back from Blackburn in the mid-80s.

I had a couple of pints of Robinson’s Old Tom, and spent the return train journey emptying my guts in the toilet.

Nothing to do with the 10 pints of Thwaites bitter I’d had before the Old Tom.

In fairness I think you flagged the price up then as being cheap.
