Disney land paris

Booked to go half board for 5 days. How does the half board work because I've read that if your meal costs more than the half board tickets you get you have to pay the difference, how much are the half board tickets worth does anyone know? The travel agent has told me to ring up the places i want to eat in and reserve tables before i go but i dont know what i want to flaming eat that far in advance. As long as they have onions on the carvery and red sauce for my bacon and brown for my sausage it should be fine.

There’s plenty of restaurants and you’ll get vouchers for some of them included. As an example you might get 2 courses in a restaurant priced around €40 (per person) but the voucher itself is usually around that value anyway. I think we only paid extra for the likes of a bottle of wine or something like that.

Do the Buffalo Bill thing one night. You get to watch an indoor cowboy show with several courses of food and beer top ups are included as well.

Final tip, the themed restaurants with most of the characters in tend to have the worst food and service and are by far the most expensive!

To some extent that's true but I gotta say being served frogs legs by a big titted, topless Minnie Mouse for 75 euros was a highlight

I've seen the list of where is included just wondered the value of the vouchers. Is booking a table really necessary?

As a side note it means i miss the Barnsley game so if anyone wants my ticket they can have it for 50 quid :D

What hotel are you in?

The Halfboard vouchers very in value dependent on the Hotel.

You cant use them in the Rainforest Cafe or Planet Hollywood.

Breakfast options also vary greatly dependant on hotel (From full hot buffet to 'breakfast to go')

Then your breakfast will be hot buffet every day and your vouchers for evening meal are 'Premium' so you can eat a 3 course meal basically anywhere with no charge.

Recommend Buffalo Bills for one night, Inventions in your hotel for a Character Meal (Hot and Cold 'Posh' buffet with the characters at the tables) and If you like steak, The Steakhouse in Disney Village

Have a good trip

Get your travel agent to start earning their commission, for a start.

Pull out while you still can.

One of the worst experiences of my life. The second worst was Disneyland in Florida - but at least the yanks understand the concept of “service”.

My Mrs has booked all this so it’s all a surprise

Don’t know where we are staying but I know we are half board. She’s joined some Facebook page for a load of what to do etc.

Generally they said don’t bother booking meals there’s loads of choice you get some from somewhere
