We can't defend?

We only scored because Cardiff were sailing at switched off?

We are going down?

Jesus, come on.

Of course there were positives from that second half performance, even spells in the first half we looked good.

We took the game to 2nd in the table, statistically we didn't disgrace ourselves but obviously the three individual moments of horrendous defending/goalkeeping just took the game beyond us by half time.

Before you ridicule me for referencing statistics, it's worth bearing in mind that we would have to wait 3-4 games (at least) to get that amount of shots off and corners if Cotterill was still here.

They should take a lot of belief from how they finished the game on Saturday, it's tiny little chineses of hope that we need to hold on to. Let's use that as a turning point.

I'm not trying to be a happy clapper but he's made a difference to the performance levels already, he now needs to tweak some personnel.

Kucszsack for Stockdale
Seddon for Jenkinson- Colin to right back

He has to get it right on Saturday.
We deserve our club back

Cotterill had more points than Monk after the same amount of games.

There's a decent stat.

We may have scored twice but it was too little too late.

Defensively we are a shambles.

Cardiff missed two guilt edge chances as well in that 2nd half.

He thought Stockdale might be suspect, now he knows he is.

He thought Jenkinson might be a weak link. He now knows he’s the weakest link.

He thought Left Back was a major issue. He now knows it’s worse than that (if he moves Colin to RB).

He was a little concerned about our strikers lack of goals. Now he’s really worried.

He thought we had a mountain to climb, to avoid the drop. But it’s much worse than that.

And yet, the players got themselves back into the game, and could have got a point away at the team that lies 2nd. So there’s still hope.

He's not glued to the present, he could have learned most of that by watching a few past games.

GK is a tricky issue; Stockdale makes some mistakes but every single time we actually take any points he contributes well. I remember missing him when we had Kuschak as replacement for injury.

With any luck, this pre-season is now over, and the good times will follow.

Dear Garry,

Since the last incumbent of your current role at our beloved club, whom shared your Christian name, came & went, (if we include the two games prior to him being released from his duties - which were thumping defeats) we have in the league, played some 65 leagues games, won 13, drawn 13 & lost 39 of those encounters.

If you did not realise it before you 'took us on' you may now be fully aware of the size of the task that lies ahead of you with those kind of stats that are nothing short of disgraceful.

Keep it real Garry & we'll get along fine, but whatever you do, don't tell us 'Summer is here' when we are in the middle of the bleakest of winters.

All the very best.

That’s probably necessary, given Jenks weak performances defensively including v Bluebirds. However, opposition managers will just switch the pressure onto our LB. They will certainly target Bramall, if he plays there. They’ve done it every time, to good effect.

So there’s no straight forward solution IMO. Hopefully GM will earn his money by finding a good solution.

Yeah but left back is still weak as colin is not suited to it - also you remove the link up between him and jota.

I'd rather have one potential left back problem than two issues plus hindering jota.

I'd rather stick Harding left back as a try to be honest. Brammal is wank.
