Where people are from doesn't matter, ask Northampton fans re their "English" owners or Leeds fans re Risdale etc

Blackpool too, very English owners.
We're in our current state thanks to English porn dwarves owners

Interesting, still championing his sacking?

I do think Ren is a huge part of the problem - and not just for the football side of things.

However, I'm also conscious he's part of a bigger problem for me in the way the club is run.

Other people may feel differently, just my opinion.

I think what some people may feel with the way this whole thing has panned out is, until we're away from Chinese ownership it will continue as it is - a feeling of pass the parcel.
It's not like we've managed to suddenly become involved with some super multi-billionaire sugar daddy like wolves. We always seem to be mysteriously linked to someone who 'might have once had a bit of money' and are stagnating. It's got better lately, than the depths of the Carson era, but we're still 'floating along' at the minute after a series of super near misses.

What's sad about this is how vital an owner is to a club's success. Fans, players, stadia, managers etc are important, but ultimately it all hinges on one man at the top. Kinda kills my enthusiasm for the whole thing really. It's not sport, more like a highly glorified lottery.

Paul Suen must be looking at THE DONG and thinking he's a car crash. This tells us a lot about Suen's ambitions for the club (if he has any). If THE DONG stays then I wonder whether it's an indicator that Suen's end-game has always been to sell on at a profit n the next 12 months in which case any old donkey can be in charge as long as he's loyal.

Suen has only ever been interested in the HKSE listing I think from day one

Isn't Dong Kings man?
Either way I don't expect Suen ever had any ambition for the club and listing other than to sell on at a good profit, it's what he does.
I'm a bit concerned about the vase entrepreneur King though. Shadowy to say the least.
It's about time this club had owners like those spawny flipers have just got.

Even if the elusive Wang made an appearance, two Dongs donโ€™t make a right.
