Seems Formula 1 is worming it’s way in.
Steve McClaren and Frank Lampard headline the nominees for the Sky Bet Championship Manager and Player of the Month Awards for October.

Former England boss McClaren has led a remarkable turnaround at QPR - where a dreadful start had him under intense pressure, while Lampard's Derby went unbeaten through October as they really started to hit their straps.

The duo are joined by Neil Harris of Millwall and Birmingham's Garry Monk - who is joined by his striker Lucas Jutkiewicz in being nominated for an award.
As I said on the other thread about this:

Am I missing something with manager of the month, Derby took 9 from 15 points in October putting them 8th in an October table, Blues and QPR both took 13 out of 15 points, Blues scoring 10 and conceding 4, QPR Score 8 conceding 1.

Do they include the weekend just gone?

In which case you have Blues, Norwich and QPR taking 13 from 18 and Derby taking 12 from 18 so how does Lampard win it from that with less points in the last 6 games (if he did)?

Lapsed hasn't won it.
Nothing dodgy about McLaren winning

We don't know yet. F the eFl, do Hull, then SOTV at the end of the month....KRO!

Not saying Lampard has won it, its an open question, how does Lampard win it if he does? That would be a joke as his Derby side sit 8th purely in October and 4th if last weekend is included.

If we're talking just games in October alone it can only be one of 2 managers, Monk or McLaren. Don't think there could be too many arguments about either.

Agree yes, got to be out of the 2 whose teams have the most points in the month. Anyway didn't Wurzel win it one month after stumbling upon a system that didn't involve strikers as wingers.
