400k a week at juventus. Football makes me sick at times.
Some people defend this. Maybe they should stop and think what 400k a week could do in this world of cutbacks.
Pay for a few nurses wouldn’t it.

Maybe “football” has nothing to do with the outside world and it’s not their (whomever they maybe) job to sort out problems that governments and societies should deal with.

Juventus are a business and if they think paying one of their employees £400k a week will help them make a profit then that’s what they’ll pay.

Yeah but there's no transfer fee so all the money goes to the player. It'll cost them around £20m a year.

Mahrez (£60m, 5 year deal and 200k a week) works out at roughly £22m a year for example.

Just think how many computer classes for pensioners that money could fund.

10k per week is obscene.
It’s football as a business though. We still support it, and by doing so condone it

They're gonna be a bit disappointed.

Glad it's not my money.
