For any skint pesimists out there we’re 16/1 with Skybet to go down.

Stick a tenner on ( if you can afford it).

I think we'll be safe after our next 2 home games.

Yeah, we’ve not become a bottom 3 club over the last month. We have a few players out of form and some bad luck/decisions go against us in the last few games.

We stopped the rot earlier in the season against Leeds, we can do it this weekend against them too.

Agreed, we look good against the better sides.

On the basis the other teams lose their games as well?

Defensively at the moment we're fragile.

We only need 4 teams to go above us. 2 are 1 point behind, 1 is 4, another is 5 (who we play).

Much as I love the fact your predictions are always bold and invariably positive, they are more often than not shite so I'll stick with looking slightly anxiously over my shoulder, thanks.

Whilst that's fair comment in terms of performances, we've won only one game against a top six side this season. I think some on here (not aimed at you) have a false impression we achieve better results against the top sides than we do the bottom, when that is not the reality.
I hope and think we will be OK, but there will definitely be panic on here Saturday night if we've lost - however well we've played or not - and Rotherham have won, of which there is more than a decent possibility.
I think we will need a couple of wins.

If we can beat one of Leeds and Sheff Utd next two games, think we're safe. Can't see Rotherham winning 4 of the last 6.

Indeed. And the team four behind us has a game in hand. I think we will be OK. But, to suggest it will need a huge turnaround in fortunes across the board for us to go down is simply incorrect.
14:09, Mon 1 Apr
Absolutely. I do agree with that. However, it's going to need a better performance (over 90 minutes) than anything we've produced in recent months to win one of these two games in all likelihood.
We've been well on top for decent amounts of time against many of the top six this season, but have only won at Leeds. It's simply because these sides have better players and don't need to be dominant to win. We are where we are, which in fairness to the players would be safely in mid-table were in not for the deduction. Fingers crossed anyway.

We will be fine. We need 4 more points.

If we get 4 points, Rotherham then need 10. That's not going to happen.
14:50, Mon 1 Apr
I would probably agree with four points but only if at least one of them was against Rotherham.
Revere me.
15:02, Mon 1 Apr
Yeah. There's an if within an if there.
If they were to come against Rotherham, then there is a great chance that just those three points would do us.
If we're beaten in that game though, then we are very possibly going to need six points or more.

Are you assuming we will not get any more points.

What a bunch more f drama queens. We are staying up and it will be easy. Piddle a piss, in fact.

No I am not making assumptions we will not get any more points. The clue was the bit where I said I think we will be OK, so by paying a bit more attention you could probably deduce from that that I think we will pick up more points.

The only person making assumptions or predictions, call it what you like, is you. All I and others have said is that the picture could change very quickly indeed - for better or worse - you know, such as losing five games in a row as a certain team has.

Pointing out that we may not cruise our way to safety/having a different opinion to you doesn't make anyone a drama queen.
