Lovely scenery as always.

Some do, it's their race after all and haven't had a winner in ages.

However many French give us a big support. You should try going and see for yourself

Itโ€™s been the best Tour for years so far.

Alaphillipe showed his first signs of cracks yesterday and the weaknesses in his team to protect him in the mountains.
Expect everyone to take time out of him Thurs/Fri/Sat so it could be an epic finish.

My moneys on Pinot, looked so strong yesterday and will put massive time into everyone else (plus bonuses) at the end of the week.

Exciting!

Only got really interested since brits started winning pengy, Iโ€™m sure I just had flashback of last French winner but itโ€™s decades ago, bloke in a cycling cap not shaped crash helmet, was he called Pignon or something similar?

Fignon

Hinault has won it since

30 odd years ago.

Although going back further there was a Pingeon that won it. Even youโ€™re not that old

Total confusion today, last mountain of today's stage has been hit by a massive hailstorm and the race has been finished early at the top of the last mountain, they had just started descending

The riders weren't aware of that and Alaphilippe has now lost the lead and maybe could have regained time lost on the 13km descent before the final climb today. Very unlikely he will be able to regain it in tomorrows last mountain stage.

Unless Thomas can find something tomorrow, the race is Bernal's

Just showing rivers of ice sludge flowing down the road, whatever the riders feelings, no way could they have got up there. over 30C drop in less than 12 hours on the mountains today
Canโ€™t see how Alaphilippe could have lasted another climb. He looked done. Bernal deserves it?
