We have been fortunate to have some top keepers since I've been supporting Blues: Coton, Seaman, Miller, Taylor, Hart, Foster, Randolph

Thought Stockdale would be in that list when we signed him

Unfortunately these 2 are very poor

Camp always got a rick in him

Trueman has no presence, goes down too early

Might as well draw their names out of a hat

If Camp plays tomorrow we may as well release all our academy keepers and play rush back through our youth teams

Best of the goalkeeper we have on the books

If the young players are good enough, they will make the grade...see Bellingham

Good post. I think Ian Bennett could be added to that list.

Stockdale was bought needlessly, Kuszczak was a very good keeper for us but Stockdale was in the team of the year and helped Brighton to promotion.

What a mess the position has been since.

What a mess the club has been in.

How is the keeper who was in the bench for Real Madrid last season not ahead of Camp, Trueman or Stockdale here?

What was the point in signing him? Does Pep know better than Zidane, or was it just to take him around town on the bus?

Trueman for me.

I hope he keeps his spot for the rest of the season and uses that experience to improve, therefore ending this farcical situation.
No future.....

He wasn’t on the bench for them, at least not in the league or Europe.
Tell you what that crack is really moreish.

I found that hard to believe too.
Had a little google and found no first team bench evidence.

According to articles when we signed him he'd been on the bench 14 times for Real's first team.

Dunno how true that is loike.

He may have been on the bench for the odd game, particularly in cup competitions which I assume they’d have long runs in.

Courtois was number 1 and Navas was backup.

Camp, much more control of the game and has some good saves in him. Albeit let’s in a soft goal every now and then fecking week. So needs replacing.

Fixed.

Sorry forgot about Benno

There was Montgomery too, Blyth and Thomas were ok too from what I remember

However best save of all time was one by Tony Godden, midweek away at Sheff Utd, wasn't far off the 1970 Banks World Cup save

Camp is officially number 1 again then
