Nixon reckons we're in for Robins whilst we wait to hear back on Hughton and Jokanovic. Danny Boy still in the running as is Bowyer. Clough not happening.

At this rate we're gonna have about 6 managers next season. We'll piss this league.

Not a chance Robins takes this job and to be honest, I don't get the fuss about him.

Nixon has no idea clearly.

Why would he work with ren dong?

Sadly can’t see Hughton or Jokanovic coming with this board. Robins would be a good manager for us if we ended up with him. Done wonders on a low budget at Cov, been promoted through play offs and now winning the league only losing 3 games in the league all season. Plays good football and develops young players.

However, why would he come to us in this state with this board. Unsackable at Cov, could be sacked in 2 months here.

He’s been employed by Rotherham, Barnsley, Scunthorpe and Coventry.

Why on earth wouldn’t he come to Blues.

He wouldn’t be my choice but his career is interesting....always seems to overachieve a bit, without really pulling up any trees......this spell with Coventry excepted.

Everybody is sackable.

True that. And every appointment or signing a risk. The idea is to minimise the risk by appointing or signing people with the best credentials. Loads of Clubs don’t bother doing that though

Seems to imply we've had talks already with both Hughton and Jokanovic.

I'd be buzzing with either one to handle such a big rebuilding job.

Nixon just clarified this with “initial targets proving hard” referring to these two

Next to no chance of Robins moving from StAns to Waste Hills. Dong could offer him all the tea in China, and he still wouldn’t come. He jumped ship once before, and learnt his lesson.
11:29, Sun 28 Jun
Yeah he's said as much re jumping. Think he rejected the offer to talk to Sunderland about a year back as he was worried he'd got the reputation of a walker and needed to stay at Coventry.

I don't see anyone walking from another club in the Championship to join us.

Can't see it myself, unless he has become pally with Dong or something over the last year.

Can imagine Blues sticking the feelers out, though.
