My top 3...
1. Langan
2. Carr
3. Rowett.

Jeff Kenna?
Yes Ian Jenna in front of Rowett!
And as it was aimed at us oldies Bert Murray before Rowett as well!

And that's all good and I've heard great things about his career. On that basis, Stephen Carr had a significantly better career than Langan. He even got more caps for the same country.

Debate settled.
Promoted again.

It’s interesting but there’s a champions league winning right back who played for Blues and hasn’t even had a mention yet.

He arrived as a kid from a non league outfit and left as a kid after about a dozen games.
Just got caught in The Barry Fry revolving door ins and outs for a short while.
His career developed a good while after leaving us.

Knew him personally, great bloke and liked a tot! I took him to the Boundary Club in Olton one Saturday after a home game, forgot where his car was etc etc. Fallen on hard time recently, loved Langy!

I remember seeing him play a game. I *think* it was away at Watford in the FA Cup but I don’t have the Matthews book to hand so will wait for Spike to confirm. But anyway I thought then he had a chance from the way he used to swivel his hips to beat people. Obviously didn’t think he’d have such a good career though.
