Agree, if he doesn't make those changes for tomorrow he will have painted himself into a corner and the players concerned will just carry on as they are until they leave the club.Example has to be set so that others realise if they don't perform then its a spell on the sidelines or get moved on and replaced.

Was there anyone specific mention in regards to our current run of form?

Yes and again quite candid. CG said he looks very much at the stats and if you take it from a stats perspective we are underperforming, when at start we were perhaps overperforming. Lee said a lot of people got carried away at the start including himself and perhaps expectations were set a little high. But as he has said in interviews it is individual mistakes - Hogan missing chance at Preston etc which changes the game. Didn't get into what was changing but definitely changes.

Reading further into this there is probably a number of players he wants to get rid of, but can't just yet.

Thing is we haven't got that many (if any ?) players who have shown they are consistent enough over a 46 league game season at Championship level to suggest we could be top half, let alone play offs.

Could be that if he is fed up of certain players not carrying out instructions he try players that may be a bit raw, or not as good, but, in the interests of team cohesion, would be better at sticking to a plan. While its a risk, we're losing anyway.

I'd say most of us on here said from the start that a mid table finish would be a progression, I've not changed my view on that and it's what I think we should be achieving, it was a nice dream for a few weeks but we were never going to worry the top 6 with this group of players.

i wasn't expecting much change in january but after what was said i think we will see some movement. he wants warriors , and while Chong is the best player he has managed you will win nothing with a team of chongs

We need it too - I know it's not been all just them, but this group of players have been flirting with relegation for too long now - we need some fresh and preferably young blood in now, not easy to do in the current financial climate I know.

If Dean is as much of a wrong โ€˜un as is made out, blame the multiple managers who keep picking him and made him captain, rather than Dean.

I was saying something similar yesterday. Harlee Dean has been enabled by a procession of managers. He probably thinks heโ€™s untouchable.
