All fan bases are the same don’t think social media is totally representative though.

I’ve always liked Pederson . Think both he and Sunjic would both look much better in a stronger team than we have had whilst he’s been here. We just don’t retain possession very long.

I don't disagree.

The way to build a stronger team is by keeping the players who would do well in a stronger team.

We've got several players like that, who are 7 out of 10 types.

The trouble is that if you only have players like that, the team ends up being crap.
UK 2022. 3 limousines to drive a £3 million hat 3 miles so that an unelected man can tell us we won't be helping our hungriest citizens during a cost of living crisis

"7 out of 10"

Thanks - I'll pass your assessment on that on to Brentford's recruitment people, perhaps they'll change their minds now you've highlighted the error of their ways🤣

.

I don’t disagree in principle, but for that read Dean, Sanchez, Roberts, Etheridge, Sunjic, Hogan, Colin. I could go on and on. All have shown themselves to be plenty capable at this level, in some cases for multiple clubs, on plenty of occasions.
At some point, at some stage, the players have to take more responsibility.
I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve read on here or elsewhere that these players are decent and would do well in a better team. Well, we’ve got all these players, yet are still shit.
So either the players just are bang average (at best) or the manager(s) are turd.
People are fed up. I don’t blame them one bit for venting to be honest.

He’s getting grief because he’s off. People have reinvented the truth about his ability.

He’s been good overall.

Just struggled a bit in an ever changing defence

I don’t blame him at all for going, he’s fulfilled his contract.

He's OK - thought he did well first two seasons but has struggled to find form this season. Positional play isn't great.

My worry is who de we replace him with? Missed out on Bidwell who else is available? At the moment we're left with Friend or Gordon to cover at LB.
19:18, Thu 20 Jan
I can't imagine playing one of wing back, left centre back in a three and left back in the space of two games is great on your positional sense development.
19:26, Thu 20 Jan
This wing back system needs to go I want to see bela sanchez Graham beating defenders and whipping crosses in. To play the wing back system you have to shop at harrods and get specialist wing backs it one of the hardest positions to play I used to play there myself if your average you either just defend good but be shite in attack or vice a versa. So why is LB making things so complicated so frustrating.

It's obvious who we replace him with, it's our new striker, who hasn't been signed yet

Pedersen's biggest weakness is his positional sense. IMO that will get cruelly exposed in the PL.

His coaching will be better in order to solve some of that including him knowing where he is playing for a game or two. He barely got that for a half with us. When Castillo played he didn’t know whether to stick to twist

He will be fine for Brentford

There's a real polarity of opinion on here between shite and quite good. I think that's because he's shown he's capable of both. He's also played in 3 positions to varying degrees of effectiveness.

I don't think there's one right answer here. What I will say for myself is I've never watched him and thought he looked a level above the Championship. He's also never ever a wingback.

Happy to move him on for some money as long as we replace him with an actual LWB. He was almost definitely leaving on a free in the summer anyway.

I hadn't realised Bidwell had joined Cov, he would have been an upgrade on Peds.

We will need a replacement for sure.

Good Luck to Pederson, I always liked him.

I’m not sure that it’s sour grapes from most just because he’s going … I wanted him to succeed from the start in the light of a lot of negativity on here but although there have been some decent performances, the main issue for me is making the same mistakes over and over . Wish him well but Seddon would have been better to keep.
08:08, Fri 21 Jan
No other Championship team wanted Seddon. You're comparison IMO us like saying Dacres-Cogley would be better to keep than Colin
