“Just getting back in touch to say that Oxford United were successful in gaining approval for land to be leased to the club for a new stadium before we become homeless in 2026. There will be further big battles to come once planning is submitted in the coming months - and I may be back to ask for some further support for the stadium plans at that point - but I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to support our club. The football community is a genuine community and your support for our club at its time of need is massively appreciated. Thank you once again and best of luck for the rest of this season.”

No problems, if you could reciprocate & write to Michael Gove saying you'd love to live in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, in walking distance of McDonalds at the old Watering Hole Island, but there are no new houses - and what is he planning to do about it?
Muchas gracias.
😂
Regardless of the ground ownership issues at Oxford, great news that they're moving from that godawful site.
Where’s the new site?
Edit: just saw that it’s in Kidlington. Even more in the middle of nowhere than the current ground.
Good to hear you’re on the up as well mucka 👍
Happy Friday
Good luck for the future battles ahead.
Will help again if I can.

Pretty sure it's opposite Oxford Parkway so that will help. The company I work for is working on the new stadium. Should mean easier access via car and public transport, more local pubs and amenities.
Kidlington is a nice Village, I wonder what the Residents of Kidlington think about having a Football Ground built there.
Good luck in securing your new home, it would be good to see Oxford on the rise
It's right next door to Oxford Parkway train station!
(Hopefully)
