Stansfields come out and said no 10 is his preferred position
He probably is right but it’s effing boring
We are stuck now until Jan at least, going on about it every game is tiresome
Stanfield looked great down the sides of the three tonight.
It's where he wants to play.

Was good on right
Did little once Burke came on and wasted on the left
TaylorJay84I thought Longelo on for Hogan was the move to make. Push Stansfield centrally and let manny terrorise the full back, with Burke and Miyoshi also behind in a three with Longelo.
Dembele was miles off it and Juke non effective whatsoever.
During the game people said right subs.
We can all play FM and win a virtual 3-0.

That’s my opinion not others
I’m not a massive fan of Hogan but I don’t think it’s fair to blame him tonight. Stansfield prefers not to play up top apparently and we hardly looked more likely to score against Preston than we did tonight. We also need to rotate when we have three games a week. We just don’t have the quality in the attacking midfield or forward positions. Its not just about ability but decision making and football intelligence. It’s too easy to blame players or the manager but it’s far more complicated than that.
The top teams with the parachute money are so far ahead in terms of their quality. It really is not as easy as just picking the so called technically best players and saying play a possession based game as some of the trendies on here seem to think. There are other qualities needed to compete with the parachute money teams.

Stansfield up top and the three behind is the area of the team we have strength
Bacuna
Hall
Myoshi
Burke
Anderson
Dembele
I know there have been injuries
But to me I’d play Stansfield up top and rotate behind
Hogan should have scored that chance, and stansfield probably would have in that position. He’s in the team to score goals, and if he’s not doing that, then there’s not much point playing him.

9 touches in 70 minutes
I thought Hogan looked reasonably lively. I thought Burke looked dangerous when he was played in. QPR were better than I expected, well organized athletic and decent skills. The division is hard and it's not that easy to win games.
Burke getting a bit of stick, I didn’t think he was that bad when he came in. Few loose passes, but a nice flicked header and was direct and powerful.
He had 9 touches in 70 minutes
3 of those were passes (0 key passes)
1 was a shot
0 dribbles
1 header
That’s about as far away from lively as it possible to get
