Top scorer for the last two seasons is a passenger?
Ok
None of that is him saying he doesn’t want to play striker though?
As has been said on this thread Jude played up front and on the wing for us too, yet I don’t think anyone would refer to Jude as a striker or winger.
AH, was waiting for that one..so what?
That's irrelevant and a really low bar anyway tbh..You really need to look at the here and now.
He's a busted flush and the evidence is right there in front of you if you care to look closely enough
Here and now or passenger for last two seasons?
Make your mind up
There’s two camps here
1 keep hogan up front with 3 behind including Stansfield
2 Stansfield up front with three behind him and Hogan out of the 11
I’m firmly in camp 2 but I don’t think either camp is convincing the other after a week of posts
There’s also 1 bloke who wants to start Juke
It’s at the stage now when ever hogan misses a chance there’s an overreaction and people seem to be waiting for it. Not many strikers at this level would score loads of goals when starved of service, yes he’s not clinical we all get that and don’t need reminding of it every day
When he was the best we had there was no point moaning about it as there was nobody else.
If Stansfield plays up front we get 3 points last night, i genuinely don’t see a reason why he shouldn’t be up front.
3 games in a week means there was always going to be some rotation
The other alternative would be for Juke to press players 15 yards away from him

Or play stansfield in the 9 and Miyoshi in the 10 and work around that. That would have made a lot more sense giving their performance last game.

I agree too

Yeah, I agree with you. I think there should be a separate Hogan/VAR board 😁

It’s not just missing chances, nine touches in 70 minutes. I despair sometimes
I thought first half we played some excellent stuff and Anderson going off was the problem
I don’t see the problem with the lineup last night. The subs yes, I’d have not brought juke on for 20 mins. We looked disjointed after
I feel sorry for hogan, really do. Could understand a pile on if he’s missing 3 or 4 chances a game but one chance a game isn’t a lot to miss. Lots of strikers thrive on chances and miss their fair share
People question his work rate when he’s not scoring more than usual, but I’m sure the club have analysis that would poo poo that stance
Is his job not to create space for others?
Nine touches isn’t a lot completely agree but bar stansfield who was played behind due to Anderson going off and dembele being unfit, the alternative is juke

I bet they haven’t but you should never poo poo a poo poo
