Blimey. When I saw the thread title I thought he'd be coming in at Blues as a staff member or consultant or summat.
No age at all.
I knew Craig since we were about 12. First playing against him for Erdington & Saltley Schools v Aston and then as team mates for Dunlop Terriers for about 3 years. Same school year as me.
Bumped into him occasionally over the years and always had a chat. Last saw him in Sutton around the time Leicester won the league.
A really nice lad. RIP Shakey.
As I am not far off that age and so it's a real shock. I bumped into Mick Harford on Saturday night and he doesn't look well. I went to see Mick, Hoppy, Noel Blake and Tony Coton last year and to see my heroes as men who have suffered cancer, heart attacks and alcoholism is really sad.
Blimey, RIP 60 no age. I scattered my best friends ashes today in the fields and woods, only 52, really never seem to be far from death these days.
Yes my brother was at secondary school with him at Perry Beeches.
Always a very popular player at Walsall and a very nice guy.
RIP Shakey
