Time after time tonight we got into great positions around the box but the quality of the ball in was dreadful.
It's something we needs to do a lot of work on in training. Service to our main threats was none existent.
It's been fairly inconsistent so far this season.
Hopefully it's just about needing players to gel and build understandings.
I actually think we may be better away from home on bigger pitches. Our pitch seems tiny and everything seems so tight.

There has been some good quality balls into the box but it is very inconsistent.
Separately, we need to shake up our plan with corners. Klarer at the back post seems to be the dominant plan.
Final ball really does need to improve quickly, to say most of our best play comes down the wings the final ball is a massive frustration at the moment.
I coached their young centre half Harry Williams who was MOTM I reckon at under 10’s to under 12/13’s. Lovely kid and family. Went to Albion and played for England youth sides. Got released at 18 and went to Alvechurch before Walsall signed him. He headed everything away and took their long throw ins.
He was very good last night, led their defensive line .They defended very well as a team .
Yeah they had a really good shape. Helped by us not moving the ball quick enough of course
