Laird and Harris, to save you a click.
Laird's going to be a massive miss.
Our main attacking outlet.
Some tough games coming up as well.
Laird is a blow as he is a great attacking outlet for us, Harris would probably not be a starter anyway,
I agree on Laird, he will be missed down the right side.
Yeah Laird is a huge blow. We have great depth but not a like for like replacement. We will have to change the way we play a little now, Sampsted looks a really solid full back but doesn’t have Lairds pace or attacking intent. Can see him sitting in now and Cochrane tasked with bombing on.
One thing on Chris Davies- he’s always so vague on injury timelines! Sanderson & Anderson he said ‘weeks’ which could mean anything and now Laird & Harris he said “I think it will be into the months, I would say. I can’t be definitive on it but I think it’ll be over a month for them both.”
Into the months- would be disastrous, just over a month wouldn’t be too bad.
Can we switch sides and play Cochrane the same way we play Laird?
I think so. Didn’t we sign Cochrane for his attacking prowess?
Nikola Zigic- FEACan we switch sides and play Cochrane the same way we play Laird?
Yeah I reckon so, I think there will be more of an onus on Cochrane now
There has to be - although I'm not sure how suited Hansson and Yokoyama are to playing as the inverted winger.
Perhaps an opportunity to play Stansfield there?
We've got so many options open to us now, that as bad as it is, Laird being out isn't a total disaster. This squad can play in so many different ways, just on CD to find the best one that gets our best players firing. Not easy, but a great problem to have.

Don't think they need to play as inverted wingers per se, there will just be more of a licence for Cochrane to get forward and overlap as an orthodox full back, it'll less lop sided and more of an orthodox back 4

Yeah it's not a disaster, just quipping that those who incessantly slag him off may realise that he was offering us a lot
I'm guessing it'll be Sampsted at right back and Stansfield in for Harris, not bad replacements!
