The young musician of the year final included two pianists who both played Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No 2, wasn’t very familiar with it but I thought it was great.
Must admit I listen to quite a bit of classical music, maybe a function of age and realising there is so much I haven’t heard by people I love from the greats. Anything just about by Bach or Mozart but loads of others too.
