Prof Brian Cox. iPlayer. Not only fascinating if you like that kind of thing, but lovely to look at. Also strangely calming and humbling.

I enjoy his programmes a lot (very similar vibe to Attenborough documentaries) but I find the pace of this one just too plodding and needlessly whimsical and I really struggle to keep my attention and interest on it.

This style of show, even DA ones, have gone like this over the past few years, to much detriment IMO.

Still, the graphics and subject matter are excellent.

Fair comment, but after a day of graft, unwinding with an ale after dinner (look away, clean shirts) I find the pace of this just perfect. Gorgeous too, as you say.

Great telly but…. I wish they would show us what’s real pictures and those computer generated.
Highly watchable.

Just turned it on.

That's always been my question, and I have Google it but still not found a definite answer.

Do all these planets, star clusters and what not actually look like they show us on screen if we were physically looking at them? Or would they just be gray??
