I think our away following is magnificent

I’d just expect the osc to want to represent all fans and want more and more there

It's like the Blues Trust to be fair, I try to avoid talking about them or the OSCs - I'm not in favour of either because I don't see the point of them.

But that's only my opinion so I leave it there.

Generally though, anybody who thinks they are better than anybody else - or doesn't want to see the fanbase grow - can count me out.

It's been a bit weird this season with the sell-outs and new people appearing, it can even be a pain at times when people don't know where they are going or what they are doing...but ultimately it's great so you have to be a bit patient and welcoming.

Equally though - anybody who thinks growing the fanbase should involve effing off the old-schoolers who have stuck it out this long, can forget it as well.

I completely agree

The old school should be the foundation moving forward of anything we build, they’re the centre of the club and everything else should be built on top of what are ultimately the loyalist fans

My point about the osc is more that they’re so visual and directly associated with the club they need to be mindful of scaring off new support when the club need new fans in a big way with what’s coming

This, they are the bedrock/foundation, and we should be welcoming to all new fans in addition, because we're gonna need them, a lot of them, for Wagner's plans to be fulfilled.

I expect the legacy fans will be written out of the story within a few years.
we might get a small corner of the new ground if we behave and don't impinge on the people having a good time.

You’re generally correct.

It’s a very fine balance to be struck, won’t always be easy initially.

Think City have generally got it pretty spot on tbf. West Ham I think went a bit boss eyed initially towards attracting every Tom Dick and Harry and alienating a lot of the core base but it seems like things are happier there now. Arsenal is a effing library when you go the Emirates but tbh so was Highbury (went to both).

Rab will be banned, but the rest of the core support will always be there. There's always gonna be a clash between the Pre-Knighthead and Post-Knighthead fractions but ultimately the club needs them all in order to succeed, and will need to strike a balance to satisfy them all.

I hope not. I think the old lot are important

Tbf I think the old lot should really include anyone who’s watched us since the early 90s too on a regular basis, which I’d imagine is probably half the current fan base, so there’s a lot of us

But the real old skoolers like Spike deserve maximum respect. And I think he gets it. Not many on here realise that Spike is actually Jimmy from Davos videos.

Apologies for letting that be know Spike but the young uns should be told.

Hollo will be running the “part of the 8k” osc of which there’ll be 15k members
