It was really slow getting in to the ground. The collection was ok, I got mine at about 12:10 but the searches were slow. Inside it was just like standing in a park watching Sunday league. Anyone watching on tele moaning about the atmosphere should pop along to your local Sunday morning park game and sing Keep Right On from the touch line. It was all a bit shit.
Loved it though

Few of us were struggling with 730 coaches hanging from night before.
Had to show I.D to collect in a 10 minute queue, before another 10 minute queue to get in the ground.
Fair few envelopes left when I got mine. Id be surprised if it was only 10% yest / 150 of us that had to collect, seemed alot!
I think anyone who bought a return (and there were a few) had to collect; bloke I know who bought two did.

Yeah, the whining about away fans from people who couldn't be arsed if the game was being played in their back garden - is becoming very tiresome.
Still - the effers can all go to Blackpool and Barnsley instead, you know? unless they can't make it having spent weeks blarting about how they deserve away tickets - like HBomb. Or unless it clashes with a Tamworth match, like HBomb.
I loved it, Blyth Spartans was fantastic and so was Sutton. Getting a drink in the "fan park" - which was basically a shipping container and a portashitter.
Anybody who could make an atmosphere out of that set up would have been doing well.

The beer was horrible yesterday. Barman said they had spirits but couldnāt sell them because of our reputation š
Only had Rose and white wine so I ended up on Rose and some rum the barman said heād made himself and if I told no one heād given it me, I could have some. Was ok tbf

1500 or so of us spread along two sides of the ground with little or no roof and people are moaning about the atmosphere. As another poster has said it was like watching a Sunday morning parks game.

I bought a return ticket on Friday and collected it from Blues TO.
Obviously not everyone able to do that but I didn't want to risk p1ssing about at Sutton.

š„Just defending the honour of The Cartel who weren't really there yesterday as usual.
H is alright, if he dishes it I'm sure he can take it back. He's looking forward to the big game at Burton in the next round anyway...
And yeah, we ended up drinking cans - the Signal Lager and cider didn't sound that appealing at that time of the morning.
I don't think I've been in a ground so early since I was seven. There was sod all else to do round there at that time on a sunday morning mind.
Our lot went to the boozer at the bottom of the road but the land lady shouted from upstairs that she wasnāt opening until 12. It was 10.45. I collected my ticket and went in the bogs in the ground to the left of the turnstiles for an enjoyable shit with good quality bog paper. I did see cans of Strongbow and that Signal lager on the floor behind the bar
Yeah we were heading for that boozer before the fans coming the other way told us it wasn't opening.
Gaffer must be barmy, could have had a right good holiday out of the profits from yesterday.
Some lads apparently jumped in an Uber and went to a pub a couple of miles down the road that was open.
Yeah some of our lot did Uber to a Wethers. I couldnāt be arsed but as you say that boozer probably gave a grand or two up in takings. That fan zone in the ground couldnāt hold much more than 250 and only had 2 serving anyway. Admittedly theyāre not used to big away followings
There was a pub open at the top of the high street at 10:30ish when we walked past. The Crown I think it was called. 10 minute walk from the ground.
Stayed off the beer yesterday personally, had a nice fried breakfast in Timās Cafe on the high street.
The programme seller with a shopping trolley from Morrisons was a personal highlight. He took a bit of stick from some old sauce force lads. As did the dog on the vitality advert going around the ground.

I collected mine from outside the away end. Admittedly I got there quite early to do it but it took longer to open the envelope with the ticket(s) in them than it did to queue up!
That seemed much longer than a 10 minute walk to me mate
