Cracking game at Halesowen Town.

1 down with 13 minutes to go and ended up winning 2-1. The winner wouldn't have looked out of place in the Premier League....a superb goal.

Proper football.

Just seen that tremendous winner

I'm not entirely sure why he's playing at that level. He's a fantastic footballer.
There's too much opinion and not enough fact.

He's three points off 13th. He's managing Plymouth. He's fine.

In fact he's as close to 13th as he is bottom. It's not like he's spent loads, he's basically doing as can be expected.

He's a shit manager and you know it

I'm not saying he isn't, I'm saying he's doing what would have been expected there pretty much, though. So I don't think he will be sacked any time soon.

They've got a game in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night as well. Combine that with their injury woes and they'll be running on fumes by the time we play them.

It's exactly these kinds of scenarios where our squad depth is going to start telling.

Something's up with them at the moment.

It seems an emotionally intense environment under Arteta.

After putting in two incredible league performances by their recent standards of what came before, it must be hard to pick yourself up to go again targeting 90+ points and it knowing it still might not be enough.

Before today they had already dropped 9 points which is a lot if you are trying to go toe to toe with man city. They'd have probably been thinking the title was already beyond them hence the display.

That being said, if Arsenal had played in the late game or tomorrow with the knowledge of Bournemouth beating Man city, I think they would have been more up for it to reign them back in.

Martin Oddegard is injured. Makes them tick.

A massive miss for them like Debruyne is for Man City, superb footballers.

The standard definitely seems weaker this season from the games that I've seen unless the gap is closing

But Man City still win titles without DeBruyne. Indeed, last season they won missing him and Haaland for a significant period.

Rodri is a huge loss for them.

Depends - he’s thrown the game today to rest players for the Portsmouth match. That puts a lot of pressure on that game now. If they lose at home with a rested squad, I think he’s in trouble.

Gamble paid off

Still maintain that he isn't doing a particularly bad job no matter what some are saying. They wouldn't expect to be higher.

Tell you what that crack is really moreish.

It was a match between two very poor teams, though I thought Portsmouth were the least worst out of the two overall, but Plymouth capitalised on some very awful defending to score. Probably just papers over cracks that Rooney won, but whatever who cares, he’s not our manager anymore thankfully.

He's got them four points off 8th. There are teams above them that are underperforming more than they are.

They were absolute garbage for the second half of last season and barely scraped up above us so hardly taken over a side with high expectations.
