Usually by invite only, but some recent reviews: "wow I have never seen one like that" - "that is quite something" - "the size of that thing". Must start a Google reviews page
Only by invite. Not a reliable sample then to support your claim. They could be nuns for all we know.
Raspers, which one provides the best teletext service?
Nah, it's shit mate. Don't have Sky Sports on it.
Get yourself a Phillips Ambilight
Nice effect is the ambilight, but Philips tv's are shite IMO for reliability.
I've had 2 and the panels died on them within 3 years - one died on boxing day xmas 2021. My lad as sat there looking at me mortified as he was trying to plug his new xbox in. Turns out panel LED's died. Screen went extremely dim.
Paid £450 for a 55" Smart Crystal Samsung on the boxing day sale and its been fine since.
We've put some LED strips on the back to mimic ambilight and its just fine. It's no amblilight but still immersive.
You'll not regret buying an LG, right across the whole range of specs and sizes.
Trust me !!
Involved in several hundred installations.
Nikola ZigicThe size of the tv should be governed by the size of the room, not the band of your council tax.
I’d just go on Curry’s and get an LG Smart tv, they’re all much of a muchness unless you’re after something top of the range.
I was trying to work out if the joke was that folks in council houses have plenty of money for big TVs, or that big TVs are very "working class" or vulgar. If you have to ask, it probably wasn't a great gag
My TV is massive, and I don't live in a council flat and am pretty loaded really
Legal only says that kind of thing to make stupid people bite.

I agree, i have an LG and it's great, pretty big as well, although i do live in a council house, so does that invalidate my opinion?

My parents do not like their LG TV.
One simple reason. To turn the subtitles on and off requires about 5 button pushes through 3 menus.
Apart from that the TV is ok, but my mum uses hearing aids and finds the subtitles very useful with some programs.
Adding go faster strips to your TV is very 1980s Ford Escort.

The majority of LG's have a Subtitles button on the remote. Hit it and check top right hand corner of the image to switch them on or off.

No Guv.
Enjoy it !
The last 3 we’ve replaced, we’ve done so with Hisense and they’ve been very good and a reasonable price
