Would prefer to throw the kids out and concentrate on the league tbh

Id rather not have 2 cup runs on the go

Winning on Sunday will mean the Leyton Orient home game on 3rd Round day will need to be rearranged

Orient winning Saturday at home to Oldham will mean the same.

I’d rather we were still in 4 competitions. For our level our squad is very deep, and is so to cope with playing games in multiple competitions. We really should embrace it. As the owners aims and quality of squad will rise as we progress. And I look forward to that greatly

People should have comp at the idea of missing out on cup draws and games. Teams always have to lose but I want to be in every draw possible going forward and I want to be a ‘The Story’ in this years FA Cup if we can and if we are for as Kong as possible. Put out the best team and win.

Spot on Rab....
Pointless entering competitions wanting to get knocked out

Especially if the logic is that we should only want to be in two competitions at any one time.

What about if Exeter beat us in just over a week? We'd be down to just playing in the league then if we chucked Sunday.

Exactly, cup comps keep the season interesting.

Bring it on.

Yokoyama as a LWB though?
Wasn’t really how it worked on Tuesday. Davies goes over to left back when defending like Bielik the other night on the right. Anderson didn’t operate as a wing back, just a normal winger.

Going forward or generally when Anderson pushed higher we effectively moved to a back four with Bielik shuffling over to RB and Cochrane slotting in at LB.

Problem with the line up above in that regard is that Anderson is probably better at covering right now when need be than Yokoyama would be and Cochrane is certainly a better defender than Laird is.

I'm with Rab. Last season different, thought the cups wouldn't help our survival battle as we had a shit squad.
This season we can go for every game, we've got the squad.

We've won the league Cup. We should be trying to win this one. I want another European tour.

I'd like to see TGH in midfield, and Leonard get a game. Speaking to some Northampton fans before that game, they said Leonard was a #10 for them so i'd like to see him play there.

Yokoyama deserves a run out, and Dykes should get one too. Perhaps Sanderson too but not sure he will.

BTW what is going on with Buchanan?!

.
For all his criticisms, Sanderson has great athleticism and is probably better suited on the right of a 3.
When Beilik was dragged wide on Tuesday night he often had to foul to prevent being spun. Sanderson is a lot quicker on the turn and probably played the best football of his career at RB for Sunderland in league one.

Bielik might be slower in legs but 100 times quicker in thought and has a far greater passing range and ability on the ball
