I’m chasing a refund for a cancelled excursion due to adverse weather during a recent trip to Spain.
Their anti customer service defences have been at full throttle since their cancellation. It’s only 100 quid ‘ish but their lack of interest makes me even more keen to get customer satisfaction. I’ve completed a Barclaycard refund claim but am determined to get a satisfactory response from Tui directly. As a group we spend 38k every year with them so it’s disappointing that they can’t be arsed.
Their Director of Customer Experience is Sue Bradley. Can anyone offer advice on how best to get her or her PA or her department to respond.
An email address or a direct line phone number would be a start but their ivory tower seems watertight ??
Dance before the music is over.
Enjoy every minute.

Sorry to hijack the thread General, but yesterday I had a flight cancellation by KLM.

They rebooked me to a later flight which was useless because I missed my meeting by using it.

They say they've fulfilled their duty by rebooking me and no refund is due.

Is that really true?

Section 75 chargeback from your credit card company.

KLM issue: depends on why it was cancelled. If it's weather, then that's what travel insurance is for. Otherwise there's a scale of payments depending on the delay. If they've cancelled you before the flight, then you can get a refund. Again s75 chargeback.

When you moan about their poor customer service on a public forum like X. They tend to get in touch with you to avoid negative publicity.

No, you have a legal right to choose - regardless of reason. So if you chose to go the next flight, you won’t be due a refund.

However, you can claim compensation if you were delayed more than two hours - assuming it was the airlines fault.

I won’t go into the reasoning but TUI are utter bastards and I’ll never use them again.

I have just received 400 euro off Lufthansa because of a missed flight connection, it took 3 months but they also paid 150 euro for the hotel.
It's easier to beg for forgiveness, than ask for permission.

This. Life's not fair. Time is money. Move on.

There's an app called Lusha - it attaches itself to your LinkedIn. Go to her profile and it'll give you the option to see her email address and sometimes a mobile.

Doesn't always work but it's free.

^^This

My Mrs refuses to use them and that isn't based on any personal experience or even anecdotes from friends or family - just based on TripAdvisor reviews etc. They are normally only a little bit cheaper and their customer service is non existent.

38k? What’s the group and how many of you are there?
