Hope it looks better in person, because on that camera footage it looks like p*ss. Just looks like a worse version of TV lol.
This kind of stuff will be good when they figure out hologram technology for it so that all players, the ball, the goal, refs, etc, are displayed in front of you instead of using a screen.
I've seen videos of this on Twitter and I thought it looked decent tbf
Bloody hell, if you put that on in the roost I can guarantee someone would try a pitch invasion when we scored.

I can see it being decent when the action is actually at your end, but when it's at the other end surely you're not going to see as much on a screen as you would in person. As long as the tickets for something like that are dirt cheap then I suppose there's no harm in trialling it, getting opinions, and gradually improving it over time.

Watch the video, when the person looks up to the right you can see a screen that has the TV feed on it.

Yeah so at that point you're just paying to watch tv lol. Just doesn't look like something I imagine will catch on and will always be a niche thing, at least in its current state. As technology improves though, watching matches in VR as if you were in the stadium, as well as watching the matches as holograms will be much more common and significantly better than what this is. The technology in this video is pretty much just a stop-gap to get us to the end goal of actually watching the match in VR.

$11-$22 General admission and $44 for reserved seating

I’m sticking with BluesTV and my executive box.
I was going to go to the one in Dallas the other week but I couldn't justify the price for the seated area over the general admission for Cincinnati Bengals game. Some of the videos of it look phenomenal.
It will come to the UK pretty soon (I have not read the article, it may say that).

The camera position changes, depending where the ball is. The more cameras they have the better it will become.
Cambridge away would be a good opportunity to roll this out
Some good ones from the American Football, which it does probably lend itself better too as the game is a series of 'plays' so the camera changing can be more seamless.

Looks good, would think it would work with the Boxing too
I think for more stationary sports it would be very well. With things like UFC, Boxing, NFL, you're really only looking at one part of the pitch/ring/whatever at any given time, but with things like Football the game changes sides so much and the ball can travel far away and close again within a few seconds, so I feel like it would just be kind of jarring if the camera kept switching to keep up with the play. For The aforementioned sports though I think it would be wicked.
