I thought St Andrew's was bad at times, but I went to watch Everton vs Posh last night. Not a peep from the Everton fans. Abysmal atmosphere from them. Posh fans were great, never stopped signing.
Surely that would have meant not a peep from the Posh fans?
Atmosphere in England is generally pretty dead compared to many countries. Have a watch on YouTube at the Japanese fans, it's mental how different the culture around creating an atmosphere is. Germany generally has really great atmosphere too.
Sure, when we sing KRO in a packed stadium it can be good, but we then just die down for a while until we get another chant going 20 minutes later. Can't imagine you'd ever get ultras in the UK the same way you have them in Germany and Japan, with them singing pretty much nonstop all game.
All a bit forced though innit. Especially in Germany.

Tbf it's not massive surprise really is it?
It's never going to be cauldron of noise for a 3rd round tie against league 1 opposition on a Thursday night.
Especially when the oppo fans are using sign language
Sounds like a decent atmoz at viler

Everton fans were quiet last night because they were waiting to see whether they were going to end up with LondonAndy or his son for their next manager. It was all very tense.
