Huge 6 months for him, if he gets his head down in an environment with JE and thrives, I wouldn’t rule out him coming back to us next season.
He's not got a future at the club, he doesn't suit our style of play at all.
I'd imagine he's gone on loan because no one would pay for him, and we want to at least get his wages off the books and not have him hanging around, pissed off. Presumably an upgrade has been lined up.

Personally I'd rather us not piss about with this sort of stuff and get an actual centre half in. I don't think we can take the risk.
Personally, I don't mind it too much. If Neumann is coming in the summer then I'm sure we have more than enough to see us through the season, rather than us overpay for a player that might not be 'needed'. I'd rather see us strengthen up front in wide areas and in the 10 position rather than at centre half.

The though of Sampsted or Iwata having to play there worries me.

This isn't like last season with Kevin Long, we have the means and PSR room (whatever it's called in this division) to replace same goes for Buchanan as well.

Some of the more sensible types have been saying it'll be one in one out until the Summer and I don't see Davies potentially leaving us short.
Harry Darling would do nicely. Out of contact in the summer and chips in with a decent amount of goals for a CH.
