Seems a nice.bloke, all translated and that obviously I. The interview.

If we go out of the vertu trophy tomorrow and FA Cup on Saturday. Unless Cochrane gets injured he isn’t gonna play is he?

If that is the case feel sorry for him. Sold a dream but ultimately probably won’t play that much in reality. Much like Yoko and Sampsted.

I do wonder how the conversations go in the recruitment interviews. If he knows the above fair enough, but it didn’t feel like he thought he was coming as a back up.

Good luck to the lad anyway. These Asian boys always have a spot on attitude for me. Desire and willing to work hard.

Why, you're worried an international left back can't play against teams like Cambridge United at home?

Bizarre.

Cochrane is not a machine he’s going to need a rest from time to time.

I think you're looking for a problem where there's only positives.

Myung-Jae's pedigree suggests he should be more than good enough to get into the team and stay there. It might not happen, because it's hard coming into a winning team in January but I'm sure he's smart enough to know that.

Or to put it more sarcastically, we've already got 11 players. Why do we need anymore?

I know what you're getting at. It is odd when you see somebody like Grant Hanley say 'im just looking forward to coming here and playing lots of games now' or words to that effect.

It's like he thought because he's dropping down a division he was coming in to play. Rather than going from being 4th choice at Norwich to 4th choice here.

Quite a few players have said that in their welcome interviews when you know they're gonna be warming the bench most of the time.

I think they just say to them “look at Laird, Anderson, May and Harris, they all get decent game time so there’s hope for you”

Exactly this
Cochrane will be thinking thank God for that
I might get a day off

And that’s before he has factored in that Davies will hate him. Like he does everyone else.

People really don’t understand the concept of squads do they?

He’s a professional footballer, so thinks his ability is enough to make that left back role his .
He knows he’ll get games when players are rested, he will also get last 15/20 minutes in games to rest

TGH / Dykes / Leonard / Davies / Allsopp also.

None were 1st choice at the start of year.

All have got lots of minutes.

Yeah this absolutely blows my mind.

It must be because we've spent so long not even having 11 good players.
The intellectual saviour of the masses.

He’s signed a six-month deal. I wouldn’t think he’s been ‘sold a dream’ on that basis to be honest. It’s an experience for him and you never know how it may turn out is a better way of looking at it.

It also gives flexibility for Cochrane to play in midfield if required.
