If we get through I'd like to draw Bradford away as I have not been to Valley Parade.
Could really do with a home tie IF blues get through with the semi being a one off knockout & chance of a decent attendance, Wrexham away would be really tricky, think this could be quite a tight game though, Blues narrowly through 4-3 on pens.
My Blue HeavenBlues to start a strong 11, lead 2-0 make some changes and win 3-1
That's a bold prediction.
I'd say it is unlikely we score 3 unless we concede 2. In our 17 game unbeaten run we have only scored 3 goals once, admittedly in a 3-0 win.
Think if we go two up early they’ll have to come to us which suits us
Knock out football isn’t it as opposed to the run of the mill league
I believe
We've played Charlton, Fulham, Sutton, Lincoln, Blackpool, Exeter & Swindon in knockout football this season without scoring more than 2 in any game.
I'm not saying we can't score 3, but the evidence suggests we probably won't.
If we win 3-1 or better I will happily admit he was right.
I'd like us to score a few more occasionally.
Stevenage on a good run of form, I think it really depends on how much we rotate and how much the player’s minds are on Saturday. I can seriously see us losing here and if we rotate too much, I can’t see it being pretty. Course it also depends what they do, they might throw it and focus on the playoffs instead.
So it’s kind of up to Davies to live up to his mantra of “the next game is the most important” and play a strong side. Get the win, get out, minimal effort expended and I’m more than happy.
My old man’s put a bet on for us to get through both rounds. Mad bastard 😂
The prediction threads are just a bit of light hearted fun, nothing too deep LOL! After all, no-one knows the line up etc to even have an educated guess at this point!!
Come on Mr Sheep, lets have your prediction!
I think Blues will win.
0-1, 0-2, 0r 1-2 most likely.
May and Dykes/ o.g. to score.
Bets hedged.
I 'd expect the line-up to be similar to that at Swindon.
Dowell or Wright in for Yokoyama, probably Hanley instead of Davies
I do not know if the new Korean has clearance for tonight
Losing 2-1 tonight I think unless we go more or less full strength. Just got a feeling of a little kick in the teeth on its way, purely as I really want to go to Wembley and I think CD will have his eyes on Saturday more unfortunately.
Probably the last time we will be in this tournament, I would prioritise it, its highly unlikely we win the FA Cup, its unlikely we get past a strong Newcastle side, lets grab this trophy before its too late, for the third and final time.
I just hope Chris Davies is of the same mindset.
Blues' preview for tonight's game says Lee is available.
