Just a conversation point.Bit of fun. Nothing too life or death. It’s good to talk
I quite understand <>however the guy has done OK when hes played this season . Id give him some game time tonight with Stanno or May ,His knockdowns and general holdup play are better than Dykes and do a lot to make up for his lack of mobility
You're wrong, and anyway Thongs is on the windup.
TCKROHonestly, a bit disappointed to see Yokoyama going as I'd like to see him play tonight but I guess it makes sense for him to go elsewhere to play football if there are better opportunities.
Replacing Sanderson for Hanley is a good deal, Hanley should be solid at this level.
Be interesting to see how Dowell will get on, looked good against Rotherham, may play tonight as well.
Lee coming in as left back cover with experience is ideal so he could get some minutes if we are leading by 2 goals or more.
7/10
Odd that people are OK with him going but say they would like a winger in!
ThongsNo room for sentiment, this is business not a retirement home.
Love the Juke but his time was up 2 or 3 years ago. He is taking the squad place of striker we may need.
Keep him about as a figure head and use him at meet and greets, but shouldnt be anywhere near the squad
Slightly underwhelmed by the transfer window, although I accept that the manager wants experienced players who can cope with the pressure during the run in. I think that’s what he has bought in.
None of us should forget Wolves promotion collapse in 2001/2002, when they let an 11 point lead slip and eventually lost in the playoffs. I’m certain Chris Davies wants experienced players to ensure that we have players who won’t wilt under pressure.
The big signings can wait until the job is done.
Not sure why we didn't try to tie-up Ben Davies on a permanent. Do we have the option to purchase in the summer?
My guess is Davies would be on a fair wedge at Rangers. Making it a harder deal to sort out.
Unless we can get them to pay a chunk of his wages, I wouldn't be suprised to see us look elsewhere in the summer.
Club probably not rushing in to anything either, they’ll be targeting players above the level so I imagine we’ll be after another centre back who fits in to that category.
Seems the sensible play to wait until the summer and assess all options.
Don’t disagree at all. My contribution, as I said, was that it was always likely to be a boring window for want of a better word.
If we sign the likes of Hanley and a 31-year-old on a six-month deal in the summer, it’s a car crash. For now, where we are, it was fine.
Not bothered. A couple of players who didn't overly impress for the first half of the season have really come to the fore these past few games. The forging of a solid side is more important for us at the moment.
I'm happy with the window - pretty boring but we seem stronger coming out of it than we went in, and we're already in a fairly comfortable position at the top of the league, we didn't have to take a gamble.
You are entitled to your opinion .The fact that it doesnt coincide with mine indicates that thats all it is-an opinion . Not a concrete fact
Disappointed Yokoyama has gone out on loan .We didn't need much .
3/10

Funny because when you wrote it you seemed pretty convinced it was a fact in the way you expressed it. It’s pretty hard to establish whether one player is better than another. Stats can help but we haven’t got them. In their absence, we’d probably have to rely on the collective judgement of those who watch the team, ie fans and most importantly the manager. In the case of the fans, I think you’d be very much in a minority in your opinion.
Of course that doesn’t make you wrong, but you must think and indeed it is likely the case that the manager must be a bit of a mug, playing someone when he has someone else who does what he does only better. Do you think that?
5/10 was not great but could have been worse,I think some people wanted bigger names to come in and more players in but it was never going to happen, there's an old saying "don't upset the applecart",.We are more than capable with this squad to win this league, time to strengthen big time will be next season with maybe 4 or 5 players coming in, we will be fine for this season.
