He can't be arsed with football in the lead up to the London Marathon
That draw on Friday at Norwich was to me. Picked Norwich in a LMS and was down to the last 5 of a £6k er. DvB
Just as another former manager of ours starts to pick up results at Derby.
Rowetts doing what he does in a lot of roles. Started well (5 wins in first 7), regressed back to the mean (no wins in 9), but overall on track to keep them up (21 points from 16 I think)
I thing they are bang in trouble
The games they have left are
Home
Watford
QPR
Sheffield United
Leeds
Sunderland
Away
Boro
Sheff Wed
Cardiff
Swansea
I can see Derby getting 12+.
Oxford will probably need to get at least a point from the Cardiff away game and quite likely to win it.
And will need to beat both Watford and QPR at home.
It might suit Rowett to play against some of the better sides where he can set Oxford up to play on the break. Let's face it, he didn't do much when handed the two worst teams in the league back to back for us to get wins from at the back end of last season, but managed to get wins against Cov and Norwich. That about sums him and his teams up.
Relying on getting points v Sunderland, Sheffield United and Leeds is a pathway to relegation.
Potentially, although we beat both last season at home too
