The club have bought in what they regard as the best people in the business in various areas of the club.
Except for the ticketing side of the club. Not like it's a crucial part or anything.
For the new fans we are trying to attract their first interaction with the club will be with the ticket office. And with poor communication, tickets not arriving on time etc, etc, those new fans could be so disappointed with that first interaction they might not be back.
Either get the best out there or employ an actual fan who understands the frustrations.
PS Please Blues, communicate further the future role of the OSC's so we are all aware of the need to join one or not. If all tickets for away games etc, are to go those guys first, as well as other perks, then just state this. We don't need unnecessary division amongst fans.
brierleyblueIt's probably the hardest part to sort though. You can even sort the playing squad out with spondulix but ticketing is not something you can go from zero hour. The club have bought in what they regard as the best people in the business in various areas of the club.

I wonder if there's a new take on the system that might work. For example if you gave STH the option to 'rent out' their seat for games they can't make, getting half the new ticket price back. With some deal that you can only do that 3/4 times a season. Club could sell a few more tickets in sell-outs that way and effectively provide double income whilst not needing to open stands where better seats are empty..
Probably a problem with that but just occurred to me.
I’d go the other way. If you’re a season ticket holder that doesn’t attend you should be fined.
Jack BurtonYou mean like the ticket exchange that's been in place for sell-out matches for a year?I wonder if there's a new take on the system that might work. For example if you gave STH the option to 'rent out' their seat for games they can't make, getting half the new ticket price back.
Well sort of yeh but extended to non-sell outs. Guess they'd have to work out the 'value' to the club of someone taking a STH seat as opposed to a seat elsewhere if it saved them opening new blocks or whatever.
It's obviously more money for the club to sell a fresh seat rather than re-sell an ST seat though.
