The station could be closed to make way for the Bordesley Chords, which will enable the Camp Line stations currently in construction at Kings Heath, Moseley and Pineapple Road to connect with Birmingham Moor Street station.

Any chance of a new station at the new Stadium?
No, because the chords will allow these services into Moor St (where there is some capacity, unlike New St).
Imagine if they closed the only station available to rat hole park🤔
A consultation to close Birmingham's 'ghost' railway station which delivers one service a week to St Andrews is set to get underway.
That's wrong for a start.
Isn't it open, just at long as you're coming/going east of Bordseley?
Gotta say the 1875 is a godsend when my old man comes down. Feels too good to be true sometimes.
It’s been planned to be knocked down/levelled for a while I believe to put a new junction there. Club will have known.
There's one service per week, as a minimum, as there is a statutory duty to provide a service. There are more when we are at home, so long as they're not being their usual Communist selves.
bluearmyfactionso long as they're not being their usual Communist selves.
eh?
It's in the terms and conditions.
Please note, trains may not call additionally at Bordesley on matchdays during disruption or industrial action.
Oh, OK.
You don't understand what the word communism means then.

I don't think he was being entirely serious.
I bet you all a gazillion pounds that they shut Bordesley Station and then don't build the Camp Hill Line Chords.
