As a wise man once said, "this means nothing to me"

Huddersfield's is still mental in comparison to the rest of the league though

I don't fully understand this - but that reads really well to me?

Weve bought some real quality in this summer, with several £1m+ signings, and we've also given new contracts to our better championship players too.

Despite this - we've spent way less than Wrexham and Huddersfield on agent fees, and only 20-30% more than the likes of Bolton, Stockport, and Charlton.

Seems like the club is now in a much stronger negotiating position, and either able to tell agents to eff off and be more reasonable with their demands, or that players want to play for us so aren't taking the piss with agent fees?

Wait until you see the Premier League... over £400m purely on agents' fees in one year

£18 million is the turnover of a smaller Championship club.
It's a bonkers amount to spend on agents fees at that level.

A bit like our transfer spending in League One. At least we haven't given it all to agents.

I think you need to know who they bought and why they paid big agents fees. It might actually represent reasonable value if they got good players cheaply.

Dion Charles and Joe Taylor for about £5m combined who have been shit and/or injured

These pair were meant to get them to the automatics

You pay an agent fee to sell a player? So the agent gets a fee from both selling and buying club?

Feck me, I'm in the wrong career

Potentially different agents. Finding a club who are willing to pay more and have it negotiated is potentially worth a lot more than just selling someone. It's not that illogical really.

Or they’re paying out more depending on success than at the time of a deal.
I dunno but our seems very low based on the number we bought in

You’re gonna be greasing the agents palms a lot less when the player is dead set on the move I suppose.
Tell you what that crack is really moreish.
