Was it just me or did anyone else think it was very slow. No zip, not slick, and not suited to our possession style at all.
The ball seemed to stick to the grass and hold up, didn’t come into a man with any speed at all and made quick one touch passing very laboured.
I said it early on in the game, and slow / poor pitches have been a factor in our poorer performances all season.
Nah the pitch was quick, just an optical illusion as it is 3 times bigger than any of the pitches we've played on this season
Players were slipping over in our left wing corner first half
Nothing wrong with the Wembley pitch.
It didn't stop Posh with their slick, quick one two passes down the wings that ripped us apart.
It didn't make any difference to our tedious 18 tip tap passes across the pitch and then back to Allsop.
We just weren't good enough to beat a low ranking 3rd division team on our big day.
My mates played. A high standard he said very early in the game it looked overwatered.
Whether it made any difference no idea.
It might have been the rain just before kick off.
Anderson slipped a couple of times.
As did a Peterborough defender under pressure from Stansfield & Willumsson. The ref gave them a free kick, but it is absolutely clear on TV there was no foul. We'd have been clean through on goal as well.
It was an outrageously bad decision as the ref just invented a foul where there was no contact at all. The player tried to trap the ball under his leg while lying on the floor, which is a foul. The ref had clearly blown up before Willumsson got to the scene of the crime.
Absolute shambles on here this week.
The pitch is no good, the stadium isn’t right for the atmosphere, you can’t get a beer, you can get too much beer, the pitch is too big.
Everything would have been ok if we had won.
I thought the beer was terrible. At the bar by the block we were in the only beer was Stella and it was £6.80 a can (£8.80 a pint). I expected to be ripped off, but it would have been nice to have a choice of pisswasser.
View was ok, atmosphere was poor. Stadium big but not that good. if Blues had been good the atmosphere would have been great.
Premier Inn was comfortable. Nice beer in the pub in Uxbridge. I didn't like the pizza I had for dinner though.
I enjoyed the day, apart from the football - from Blues, Peterborough scored two cracking goals.

A fair summary 👍
MutleyIt pissed down. The pitch was fine though. We played like we have on quite a few occasions this season, but didn’t get away with it like we sometimes haveMy mates played. A high standard he said very early in the game it looked overwatered.

I said exactly this on another thread .
One things that stood out for me which I hadn’t notice against Arsenal was the diazepam of the pitch. It seemed massive compared to St Andrews.
I think that suited them and their pace a lot more than it did us.
Best team won on the day.
Some diazepam would have helped my mood on Sunday tbf
