= scum bags
Don't think he's said anything bad TBH. Just saying it's unlikely and it's probably better for us to take it slow which, given Ipswich are coming straight back down with a solitary home win, is probably right.
There's no need to put that kind of pressure on ourselves. If we were to do it, great, but personally I'd be happy with a 10th place finish next season; something to build on.
I don't think Wagner is a 'consolidation' sort of guy, tbh.
If decent money is spent, he'll want results.
The club would be disappointed with that, we'll have a top 5 budget
"They just want stability"
Knighthead? No. No they don't.

And why should they?

As he should tbf.
Playoffs at a minimum will be the expectation from Knighthead next season.

Competing for play offs, imho, is a realistic target to aim for
Agreed he's said nothing wrong there, in fact for me it is out of benevolent care for the club. It reads as though he is just worried about it going pear shaped.
That said I don't agree with him, you have to take your opportunity when it comes. If we make the play-offs (which should be our target) then you have to throw everything at it.
Anyway next season is a free hit, if we were to finish tenth the club would still be on an upward trajectory.
