A special era in the history of boxing.
Watching Leonard,Hagler,Hearns and Duran fight it out in the 8O’s still lives long in the memory.
Each of them brought different attributes to the table and there was no ducking fights or politics in them days.They just got it done and it was brilliant.
I’ve personally met Leonard and Hagler and I’ve collected memorabilia for all 4 fighters for years.
I only watched that on boxing gold last week amazing how they kept up that intensity was gripping and to be in the crowd watching that live must have been amazing ..a brilliant era that was with brilliant boxers

I remember also when he brutally dismantled Alan Minter in 1980. Absolute beast of a man, probs my favourite boxer -RIP Champ.
